Description
The PETRONAS Hydraulic ZF Oils are hydraulic fluids that provide advanced anti-wear protection. These products have been formulated to be ashless and zinc-free, making them a great choice for use in hydraulic motors and pumps with bronze or silver components.
Despite its zinc-free formulation, the additives in the ZF series protect against wear, rust and foam and provide good oxidisation stability. Where a high-quality oil is needed for an industrial hydraulic or other application, such as machine tools and circulating systems, the ZF series is recommended, especially when fast filtration speeds, good anti-wear protection and a high level of oxidisation stability are significant considerations. It also has excellent wet and dry filterability, making it especially suitable for applications where the presence of water may cause filters to block, and it also has fast air-release properties.
Note that the ZF series is incompatible with oils containing zinc-based additives. For applications that demand an oil with a high viscosity index, suitable products in the ZF series are available on request.
