A leading innovator in supply chain optimisation software, Optilogic, has announced that it will be partnering with Castrol.

It will now be supplying its services, software and extensive experience in designing supply chains, with the aim to help Castrol optimise its supply chain network, which spans the globe.

Castrol is a leading lubricant brand that supplies both businesses and consumers, with it providing lubricant and cooling solutions for industry, transport, and the energy and marine sectors. With its commitment to cutting-edge technology and premium quality, its innovative products are respected around the world for delivering superb protection and performance.

Max Mascarenhas, a vice president at Optilogic, said about the new partnership:

“At Optilogic, helping our customers design their supply chains to thrive is paramount. Our partnership with Castrol demonstrates our commitment to providing the technology, processes and expert support needed to optimise global supply chains.”

Optilogic provides cloud-based solutions for designing supply chains. Businesses can then assess the various trade-offs that are inevitably involved in supply chains, such as service levels, financial performance and systemic risk, so supply chains can remain resilient in challenging and dynamic situations.

The company says its Cosmic Frog offering does not need an IT footprint, can import legacy models automatically, runs models faster and can process enterprise-level data on a large scale. It also says it is the only platform for designing supply chains that combines simulation, optimisation and risk engines to generate a risk score for every alternative.
