The Emkarate RL family supplies a full range of viscosities alongside performance, quality and dependability for initial fill oils, but also retrofit service oils in aftermarket applications.

More compressor makers have now showed their approval by deploying CPI’s compressor lubricants over other manufacturers.

As a result, Emkarate RL is suitable for a range of refrigerants and refrigerants blends. These include Hydrofluoro Olefin (HFO) refrigerants like R1234ze, R1233zd and R1234yf, HFC/HFO blends and hydrocarbon refrigerants like R290 Propane and R600a Isobutane.

HB grades are designed specifically for high pressures when R744 Carbon Dioxide is used. Emkarate can also be used with HFC/hydrocarbon blends like R416A, R417A, R422A-D and R419A, as well as HFC R32.

The Emkarate RL range is designed for factory fill of industrial grade refrigeration equipment and air conditioning, but also in OEM retrofit operations.

Fluid engineers at CPI have conducted lab studies enhanced by OEM compressor tests to ensure products in the line meet or exceed key system requirements.

As per 29 CFR 1910.1200, Emkarate RL lubricants are not classed as hazardous. They supply improved characteristics over standard mineral oils in every aspect, including pour, flash and fire points and viscosity index (VI).

ASHRAE-97 standard sealed tube results prove that Emkarate RL lubrication provides exceptional stability with HFC refrigerants. Along with excellent thermal stability, Emkarate lubricants display no negative impacts on metals and other compressor materials.

CPI Fluid Engineering also supplies lubricants specifically for CO2 applications in both transcritical and subcritical applications.
