A manufacturer operating for more than 150 years, Morris Lubricants is respected for being a premier British brand.
Blending and producing at its Shrewsbury base, the company supplies solutions like compressor oil, synthetic gear oil, food safe lubricants and neat cutting fluid, among many other products.
This year, the company has released a new video series hosted by its brand ambassador: specialised engineer, lorry mechanic and former TT racer, Guy Martin. Dubbed “How Oil Is Made”, the episodic show will take an in-depth look at operational updates to Morris’ manufacturing, production, logistics and storage facilities since 2022, when the last series ran.
Those viewing can learn about the major capital investments Morris has actioned to strengthen and futureproof the company when Martin takes a tour with Adrian Hill, the technology manager.
The series provides insights into brand-new features onsite like the stainless-steel tank farm, bulk lubricant blending tank (with ultrasonic blending capabilities) and pigging system.
Hill also takes Martin to Morris’ Worldwide Distribution Centre. Onsite, they discuss how the company distributes its high-quality lubricants, greases and oils not just across the UK, but to more than 100 countries throughout the world.
The series is now available to view and features Martin following the journey of oil through the blending and manufacturing site in Shrewsbury. Starting as raw material entering storage, the oil passes through the QC lab, production facilities and on to filling lines, where it becomes a final product. The oils are then stored and shipped to customers.
