Klüber Lubrication produces speciality foodsafe lubricants for food and beverage production, formulated so that incidental contact with the product does not compromise food safety. Most of the range carries NSF H1 registration, with H2, H3, 3H and HT-1 classifications available where those apply instead.
Certification goes further than registration. Klüber was among the first manufacturers to meet ISO 21469, the international standard covering hygiene in the formulation, production and use of lubricants with incidental product contact, and operates more ISO 21469 certified plants than any other lubricant manufacturer. The products also support HACCP and EHEDG compliance.
Built for the conditions
The Klüber range covers bearings, gearboxes, chains, compressors, hydraulics, can seaming machines, valves and fittings, with products rated from minus 50°C right through to 300°C for bearings and up to 650°C for chains.
Why the formulation matters
The fully synthetic gear oils run considerably cooler and more efficiently than mineral equivalents, with friction more than 30% lower and oil change intervals three to five times longer. That means less downtime, lower energy use and less waste oil. The bearing greases are tested for water resistance under stricter conditions than the standard requires, which matters in any plant with regular washdown.
