London to host major lubricants event

Sponsored by Exxon Mobil, the ICIS World Base Oils Lubricants Conference is coming to the UK in February. The 2025 event is the 29th edition of the summit and will take place at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel in London over three days.

The conference regularly attracts more than 450 delegates and features over 50 decision makers and expert guest speakers from across the lubricant industry supply chain. Confirmed speakers will include Vice President for Base Stocks and Waxes at ExxonMobil, Artis Brown, Chief Supply Chain Officer at Castrol, Jean-Philippe Lebudel and Senior Vice President for Lubricants EMEA at Shell, Felix Faber, among others.

There will be three stages dedicated to covering the newest options in emerging technologies, sustainable solutions and data-driven insights. There will also be sessions tailored specially for industry professionals of every level. Main topics on the table for discussion include new mobility challenges and alternative fuels, innovative industrial applications and the latest advances in eco-friendly additives and low-carbon lubricants.

A showcase reception will be included in the event at London’s iconic Tower of London, which along with exclusive networking areas will supply unique opportunities for attendees to connect with their peers, build partnerships and explore new business for the year ahead.

The 2025 ICIS World Base Oils Lubricants Conference will now be at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel from Wednesday, February 12 to Friday, February 14. The four-star venue can be found at 200 Westminster Bridge Road in London.
