Shell has signed separate Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with CEMEX Holdings ፊሊፕንሲ, Inc., Green Antz Builders, and Roadex Construction Corporation, which are engaged in construction ventures and the development of road infrastructure.
As part of the agreements, Shell will be providing low-carbon solutions like its bitumen, which can help to reduce the overall carbon footprint of the sector as it builds the country’s infrastructure. Shell will also be providing its advanced lubricants to reduce emissions and improve the overall productivity of equipment, as well as offer access to fuel solutions and a programmes for compensating carbon emissions.
According to Shell’s manager for the road and construction business in the ፊሊፕንሲ, Allan Canedo, Shell:
