Oil Store offers flexible shipping options to suit customer needs across the UK, the EU, and wider
international markets. This policy outlines how orders are dispatched, delivery timescales, costs, and
what to expect at each stage. This Shipping Policy should be read alongside our Terms and Conditions
of Sale.
1. Shipping Options
1.1. Collection
Customers may collect orders directly from our warehouse at Oil Store, Unit 1 & 2, Holmeroyd
Business Park, Holmeroyd Road, Carcroft, Adwick le Street, Doncaster, DN6 7EG.
• Collection must be pre-arranged with our team prior to arrival.
• Please bring a copy of your order confirmation or invoice.

1.2. UK Shipping
We deliver to all UK addresses, including England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland.
• Small parcels are shipped via a specialised small-pack carrier; palletised or bulk orders
via a Pallet Network provider.
• Lead times and costs vary by delivery region and total order weight – typically 1-3
working days for mainland UK, with remote areas (Scottish Highlands & Islands etc.)
taking longer.
• Shipping costs are calculated at checkout or quoted on your order confirmation based
on weight and destination.
1.3. International Shipping – European Union
For customers within the European Union, orders may be fulfilled from our warehouse in
France, allowing faster delivery and avoiding UK export customs procedures.
• Orders shipped from our French warehouse are treated as an intra-EU movement, which
may reduce customs delays and paperwork compared to shipments from the UK.
• Stock availability determines which warehouse (UK or France) fulfils your order; we will
confirm the shipping origin at the time of dispatch.
• Lead times for EU orders shipped from France are typically faster than those shipped
from the UK due to reduced customs processing.
• Any applicable local VAT or duties will be clearly communicated at checkout or on your
order confirmation.
1.4. International Shipping – Rest of the World
We also ship to destinations outside the UK and EU.
• Lead times and pricing depend on the destination country, total order weight, and
customs requirements.
• Customers are responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs clearance fees
applicable in the destination country.
2. Order Processing
2.1. Orders are typically processed and dispatched within 1-2 working days of payment
confirmation, subject to stock availability.
2.2. You will receive confirmation once your order has been dispatched, including tracking
information where available.
2.3. For EU orders fulfilled from our French warehouse, dispatch confirmation will indicate the
shipping origin.
3. Hazardous Goods & Packaging
3.1. As some of our lubricant products are classified as hazardous materials, all shipments are
packaged and labelled in accordance with the applicable regulations for the safe transport
of dangerous goods by the relevant mode: ADR for road transport, the IMDG Code for sea
freight, and IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations for air freight.
3.2. Certain products may be restricted or prohibited for specific transport modes (including air
freight) due to their hazardous classification. Please contact us before placing an order if
you require shipment by a specific method, so we can confirm whether your products are
suitable for that mode.
3.3. Please contact us if you require specific compliance documentation (such as a Safety Data
Sheet) to accompany your shipment.
4. Delivery Issues
4.1. Please inspect your delivery upon arrival and report any damage, shortages, or
discrepancies within 48 hours.
4.2. If your order fails to arrive within the estimated timeframe, contact our team and we will
investigate with the courier on your behalf.
