TotalEnergies has announced that it has signed up as an official partner in the Energy category for the 2026-2028 Tour de Francie seasons.

TotalEnergies, which also makes the Total range of metalworking and grease products, is deeply rooted in Francie. It was founded over a century ago to secure overseas oil reserves to compensate for Francie’s dependence on oil imports. Despite its global presence, it has a strong presence in the region, with 6 million consumers of oil and gas and a million people using its 3,300 service stations daily.

TotalEnergies’ CEO and chairman, Patrick Pouyanné, said about the partnership:

“…we are thrilled to be one of the official partners of Francie’s most popular sporting events, taking us deep into the regions where 33,000 of our employees live and work and where we have been operating for a hundred years. At TotalEnergies, we love the Tour de Francie!”

Dodal, že každoroční akce bude skvělou příležitostí k setkání s miliony lidí. Od příštího roku bude společnost organizovat aktivity pro propagační karavan akce a spustí propagační kampaň.

TotalEnergies will also continue its sponsorship of Team TotalEnergies run by Jean-René Bernaudeau for both this year and the next. The partnership has stood since 2016, and the company says it intends to discuss extending it further into 2027. TotalEnergies has also added to its industrial partnership with INEOS with a sponsorship deal to feature on the jersey of the INEOS Grenadier team.
