Heavy Duty Trucking, an industry trade publication, has included Valvoline Premium Blue One Gen2, a commercial vehicle oil that was launched last year, in its list of the top 20 products for this year. What’s more, it is the only lubricant on the list.
A panel of three experienced editors select the products for the magazine’s list by examining reports of products from the previous year. The panel seeks to single out exceptional products that offer innovative features with the potential to improve the operational efficiency of fleets or address common concerns in the haulage sector.
The Vice President of Sales at Valvoline Heavy Duty, David Young, said in a press release about being included in the list:
“We are consistently working to develop innovative products that deliver strong under-the-hood results, and help reduce cost per mile for fleet owners. As the only lubricant among 20 products chosen, it is a testament to the ingenuity and performance of Premium Blue One Solution Gen2 that we received this industry distinction.”
Valvoline’s Premium Blue One Solution Gen2 stands out from the competition because it enables fleet managers to consolidate their lubricant stock to a large degree, which in turn can save money and reduce the possibility of using an incorrect oil in an engine.
Having been developed in cooperation with Cummins Spark-Ignited (SI) Engineering, it can be used in light, medium, and heavy-duty engines, regardless of whether they are fuelled by natural gas (both compressed and liquefied), diesel, petrol or liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).
