Description
The PETRONAS Hydrocer series of hydraulic oils have been formulated for a wide range of hydraulic equipment, both fixed and mobile, working under normal-to-moderate operating conditions, especially when a high level of wear protection is required. This range can also, in some cases, be suitable for bath, splash, circulation and ring oiling systems that feed oil to bearings and gears, but expert guidance should be first sought for such systems.
All these oils are produced from carefully selected base oils, combined with an advanced additive package to safeguard equipment from oxidisation, foam, wear and rust to ensure sustained trouble-free operation.
The oils feature excellent water separability, which helps assure a continued high level of hydraulic efficiency and aids in protecting equipment from the destructive effects of water, thereby minimising maintenance costs. This is complemented by excellent protection against corrosion in the presence of water. The range also boasts very good levels of oxidisation stability under typical pressures and temperatures.
The Hydrocer series is suitable for use with the majority of metal alloys, preventing issues from arising in some components, while good general compatibility with elastomers and seals helps prevent seals from eroding, which can in turn lead to oil becoming contaminated or leaking.
