Just in time for a recent event at Darlington Raceway in South Carolina, USA, leading UK lubricant line Castrol revised the paint scheme on its entrant.
The new design on the No. 6 Ford Mustang Dark Horse calls out to seven critical lubrication properties that Castrol products excel in.
American entrepreneur Brad Keselowski, Castrol and Roush Fenway Keselowski (RFK) Racing’s co-owner and stock car driver recently unveiled the new paint scheme that underscores the superior protection and performance that the BP-owned lubrication brand is renowned for.
Andreas Osbar, CEO and President of Castrol Americas, commented that Castrol as a company has been propelled by its unstoppable pursuit of innovation. He stated that the new claims were a testament to Castrol’s ongoing commitment to go beyond industry standards and supply a wide range of improved protection and performance benefits to its customers. He added:
“Partnering with RFK Racing and Brad Keselowski, a champion known for precision and perseverance, shows that we’re pushing the limits of what’s possible on and off the track.”
The seven lubricant attributes highlighted on the new branding include power, pressure, fuel economy, cleanliness, high-temperature performance, endurance, wear protection and endurance. However, the racing car’s bodywork won’t be alone in carrying the lubrication claims from Castrol, as a selection of the lubricants it supplies will also sport them going forwards.
The claims from Castrol are designed to coincide with the recent update in industry standards (GF-7) that became effective on March 31.
