The UK marketing and services division of TotalEnergies Lubricants has rolled out a new service covering packaged waste, waste oil collection and recycling.

Available to UK customers, the offering is part of a partnership with the resource recovery and environmental services enterprise, Enva.

Headquartered in West Yorkshire, TotalEnergies Marketing UK Ltd is a key supplier of petroleum-based products, industrial lubricants and specialist fluids like agricultural oil, gear oil, coolant, transmission oil and grease, among many others.

The recently launched service aims to offer TotalEnergies’ customers working in a complete range of industries easier access to a fully licensed and dependable waste oil collection service. As a result, UK companies can effectively cut their carbon footprint via improved recycling practices.

All waste oil product collected by TotalEnergies and Enva will undergo stringent quality control before being stored ready for transit. The oil will then be sent to Finland, where the French energy major’s Tecoil facility is located. On arrival, the waste material will be employed to manufacture more eco-friendly and high performance re-refined base oils to formulate TotalEnergies’ “EV3R” range of low-carbon lubricant products.

As a direct result of the new collaborative project, TotalEnergies’ customers will gain from Enva’s sustainable, compliant and safe waste management service. Carrying an official licence, it is specifically designed to make certain that the business sites stay in step with the ever-evolving HSSE (Health, Safety, Security and Environment) standards in the UK. MD for lubricants at Enva, Michael Sneath, commented that the company was thrilled to support TotalEnergies in its latest UK venture.
