
Fuchs Lubricants recently named Megan O’Meara as the new president of its business in North America.
O’Meara will now oversee several key functions of the operation, including marketing, sales, IT, product management and technical and digital transformation.
The new president brings more than 20 years of professional experience to her role at Fuchs, underscored by her background in business development, strategy and organisational transformation. O’Meara’s career includes being employed at BASF for over a decade, where she held many different posts in strategic and commercial activities, ultimately acting as Head of Management Consulting and Strategy Manager for North America.
O’Meara’s more recent positions include serving as VP of Corporate Strategy and Development for AdvanSix and VP of Fibre and Filament Business for the American chemical manufacturer. Her extensive academic credentials include an MBA from New York’s Pace University and a Chemistry PhD from the University of Alabama.
The newly appointed president for Fuchs North America commented that she was excited to join the company and be part of its ongoing success in the North American market, adding:

In a recent statement, CEO for Fuchs Lubricants, Keith Brewer, commented that he was excited about O’Meara’s appointment, stating that her strong leadership and extensive experience would play an important part in the leading lubricant maker’s expansion in North America.
