Official representatives for Fuchs commented that the new deal will add over 100 years of expertise to its operations in the lubrication industry and extend its solutions across numerous end markets. These include construction, appliance manufacturing, automotive stamping, HVAC supply and tube bending.

CEO at IRMCO Jeff Jeffery spoke out on the new arrangement and its advantages. He stated that the combined efforts of the two companies would further its reach of supplying products to applications like metal forming, cleaning, assembly and finishing markets.

During the announcement, CEO for Fuchs Americas, Keith Brewer, commented:

“The acquisition of IRMCO will further reinforce our position as leading lubrication solutions provider to the industrial segment.”

Founded back in 1931, Fuchs Lubricants began and still is a family-owned business, but has since grown into a global force for lubrication. Today, it is recognised as the biggest independent supplier of lubricants in the world, and provides products to serve nearly every application and industry.

As a result, its product ranges are extensive and include coolant, gear oil, neat cutting fluid, synthetic and mineral based oils, hydraulic oil, turbine oil and rust preventative products. High-quality solutions, Fuchs Lubricants’ products clean, lubricate, mitigate wear, prevent damage, protect against corrosion and prolong the active service life of mechanical equipment and its components.
