
Shrewsbury-based oil and fluids manufacturer Morris Lubricants has been announced as the partner of an upcoming event called “Speed Show”.
An annual occasion, the family-friendly and adrenaline-fueled event is dedicated to motorsports, with a strong focus on straight-line speed.
At the show, Morris Lubricants will be represented by Alex Sharphouse, its brand ambassador. Respected as one of the UK’s most forward-thinking engineers, he is recognised for his ability to combine modern and traditional engineering methods, and has built his reputation constructing and restoring some of Britain’s most remarkable machinery.
Along with acting as its ambassador, Sharphouse is also the face of Morris Lubricants’ “Power & Performance” YouTube channel, which highlights the best of engineering in the UK. It offers a behind the scenes look at his current projects and shines a spotlight on real world engineering challenges. It also explores how high-quality oils and lubricants can support performance, dependability and equipment lifespan.
Visitors to the show will get a chance to meet the engineer as he shares his experience, passion and insight.

The Speed Show will take place at Elvington Airfield in Yorkshire. Opening on Saturday, February 28, it will run until March 1.
