Shropshire-based Morris Lubricants will feature among the speakers at this year’s Arable Event, a one-day where stakeholders in the agricultural sector share their knowledge and expertise.
Morris Lubricants has been innovating in the sector since the first tractors with combustion engines came onto the market, and it is now one of Europe’s leading producers of agricultural oil and other lubricants for the sector. Ryan Wooley will represent the company in the speakers’ tent, where he will talk about how farmers can benefit from using the right oils and other lubricants.
Also featuring on the programme is Ceres Rural’s Charlie Ireland, who appeared on the Amazon Prime series Clarkson’s Farm. He and colleague Dan Mathews will be discussing the various opportunities there will be to base farming strategies around in future.
The event’s manager, Kelly Dolphin, said it was an excellent place to:
“…find out what’s new in the industry, learn something relevant to your farm business or just catch up with new and old friends over a cup of tea. There is the opportunity to collect BASIS and NroSO points, and every guest gets a free goody bag, refreshments and programme.”
She added that the 1,500 attendees at last year’s event shows what a great day out it can be. Potential visitors can register for fast-track entry online and be entered into a prize draw. Woodlands Farm, which is part of Bradford Estates, in Shropshire will host the event on June 7 between 9am and 5pm.
