Petronas Lubricants International recently extended its partnership with the TVS Motor Company.
The renewed agreement will see the two enterprises support TVS Racing in the motorsport events in India for a further three years, with the aim of promoting motorsports in the South Asian nation.
The India division of Petronas Lubricants acted as title sponsor for TVS Racing for the racing season from 2022 to 2023. Now, for its role in the collaboration with the TVS Motor Company, Petronas Lubricants will carry on as the main sponsor serving TVS Racing (TVS Motors’ factory racing team).
Founded back in 2008, Petronas Lubricants markets and manufactures a complete range of high-quality industrial and automative lubricant products across more than 80 markets around the world. Products include, but aren’t limited to, slideway oil, heat transfer fluid (HTF), refrigeration compressor oil, industrial grease and turbine oil.
The newly instated partnership with Petronas will support TVS Racing’s participation in several motorsports events. These include the Indian National Rally Championship, the Indian National Supercross Championship and the Indian National Motorcycle Racing Championship.
Head of Business for the TVS Motor Company, Vimal Sumbly, commented on the renewed collaboration:

CEO for Petronas India, Binu Chandy, also commented, stating that the agreement is aligned with Petronas’ wider energy ambition in India – adding that the company is excited to work with TVS Racing on the joint-venture.
