At its recent Shell Macro Distributors (MD) Cup event in Italy, oil and gas titan Shell commended Ardova Plc for its efforts.
The energy group based in Lagos, which serves as Shell Lubricants’ distributor in Nigeria, was given a “Special Recognition Award” for dominating the local lubricant market.
Shell praised Ardova’s operational excellence and outstanding leadership in the Nigerian lubricants sector. According to a statement from the energy giant, the award is designed to recognise Ardova’s pivotal role as Shell’s official macro distributor in the West African nation and its unwavering focus on delivery.
Officials at Shell also mentioned that the group’s diligence had served as a cornerstone for it extending the reach of its high-quality and high-performance lubricants in what remains the largest economy in the region.
Ardova’s Assistant General Manager for Shell Lubricants Marketing, Korede Odufuwa, accepted the award on behalf of the energy group, stating that the honour belonged to its entire workforce.
Managing Director at Ardova, Moshood Olajide, also commented on the major milestone, stating that the achievement was a benchmark for the business’ long-term strategic ambitions.
