British independent lubricant manufacturing and blending company Millers Oils recently announced two new faces joining its dedicated team of brand ambassadors.
UK racing drivers Barry Sime and Dan Zelos will now officially represent the West Yorkshire lubricants maker, which has been successfully running since 1887.
Part of a father and son racing team (Sime Racing), Sime is a successful competitive driver who has races in multiple cars. Jody Ogden, Millers Oils Marketing Manager, commented that Sime joining its team was a great step forward for the company’s classic portfolio, explaining:
“He’s not only a highly respected competitor in the classic racing world, but someone who genuinely understands the demands of maintaining and racing historic vehicles.”
However, Sime’s partnership with Millers Oils goes above and beyond mere branding, with his technical insights directly informing the lubricant formulas created by its labs.
From Norfolk, Zelos is a Porsche racing driver and three-time JCW champion. Commenting on his new appointment, he said:
“It’s a real privilege to be representing Millers Oils as I take on this new challenge. We share the same drive to be the best.”
Over its 130-year history, Millers Oils has gone from strength to strength, producing advanced lubricants for a wide range of sectors from agricultural and off-highway to industrial. A full line of solutions is produced at the company’s plant at Brighouse, from hydraulic oil and chain oil to mould release oil and rust preventative products. Millers Oil is also recognised for its patented nanodrive technology, reducing friction in engines and increasing performance levels.
