Description
ECOCOOL SD is a superior water-soluble, oil-based cutting fluid designed for general purpose machining on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It provides a high degree of machine tool lubrication and is suitable for a wide range of machining applications. ECOCOOL SD has a low unit cost and is easily disposed of using conventional techniques. ECOCOOL SD is specially designed for use at higher temperatures and is particularly suitable for heavier general purpose machining operations such as surface and cylindrical grinding, rolling and general heavy machining. ECOCOOL SD has been specially formulated for use in both hard and soft water areas.
In accordance with REACH regulations, products containing a formaldehyde-releasing biocide manufactured after 1st December 2018 will now be labelled differently and will include the CLP hazard pictograms for Acute Toxicity and Serious Health Hazard. They may also be labelled as a carcinogenic (can cause cancer). Due to this change, the ECOCOOL SD has replaced the ECOCOOL MB.
