Description
The PETRONAS Grease Li EP range includes three products that are compliant with NLGI 1, 2, and 3, respectively. These hydroxystearate-based greases are smooth in texture and can perform under extreme pressure.
The Petronas Grease Li EP range is suggested for lubricating both anti-friction and plain bearings, even those experiencing shock or severe loads, although they can also be used to lubricate geared couplings at typical speeds, sliding mechanisms under characteristic conditions, vibrating shafts and bushings and pins.
The stiffer Li EP 3 is generally suitable for applications where optimal protection against solid or water contamination is necessary, while the softer Li EP 1 is more suited to centralised lubrication systems (CLSs). Li EP 2, meanwhile, serves as a general-purpose grease.
All three products demonstrate solid mechanical stability with a capacity to carry high shock loads, a long serviceable life and effective protection against rust, oxidisation and corrosion, all while being easily pumped, even at lower temperatures.
