HollyFrontier Lubricants & Specialties is to showcase its range of Petro-Canada greases and oils at MINExpo International, which is to be held in Las Vegas this September.
The Petro-Canada range includes many products that are suitable for use in the mining industry, such as Hydrex hydraulic oil, Produro oils for transmission drivetrains and Duron oils for heavy-duty engines. HollyFrontier will be showcasing these products in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center at Booth 123.
HollyFrontier claims that Petro-Canada lubricants help improve reliability and avoid unscheduled downtime. For example, its Peerless 3 Moly 322 grease, which will also feature at MINExpo, has been specially developed for heavy-duty, low-speed operations where wear protection is critically important, even under heavy loads and high temperatures. By protecting the various joints, bearings, pins and brushings in a piece of equipment, components last longer, even in damp conditions, which is often the case with mining operations.
Speaking to Pit & Quarry, HollyFrontier’s Segment Manager for Fleet and Mining, Sharon Perichak, commented about the event, saying the company was keenly anticipating:

Attendees at MINExpo will also have the opportunity to learn about the Grease-N-Go automatic lubricator, which helps protect equipment consistently by always applying the correct volume of lubricant when needed, thus reducing the need for unscheduled maintenance and the associated downtime.
