As part of Mobil’s range of supreme performing oils, Mobil Rarus SHC 1026 has the primary use of lubricating rotary vane and rotary screw air compressors that operate in severe duty applications.
This oil is ideal for use in intense conditions where other mineral oils may not have the desired effect, such as applications where the intervals for oil drainage need to be extended or with applications subject to high temperatures in final compression. This product has been crafted with a unique set of additives that are excellent at resisting the effects of oxidation and thermal degradation. This additive technology is combined with synthetic hydrocarbon fluids and are superior to other mineral-based air compressor lubricants. As well as this, it is reliable and provides outstanding protection for equipment and compressors under the toughest of conditions.
The make-up of the Mobil Rarus SHC 1026 and its protective qualities gives it the ability to minimise maintenance costs as it reduces the number of problems experiences by machinery as well as the build-up of deposits and carryover. It gives effective lubrication, even at higher temperatures, thanks to its high viscosity index.
Mobil Rarus SHC 1026 is also advantageous as it lowers the risk of explosions and fires significantly, in comparison to other products. They also have outstanding water separation capabilities; this minimises problems caused by the formation of emulsion, which then also lowers the need for constant maintenance.
