Prominent lubricant brand Castrol has taken advantage of its presence at Automechanika 2023, which was held at the NEC in Birmingham, to promote a fresh upcoming brand identity for its UK Castrol SERVICE network.

Castrol designed its stand to mimic a Castrol SERVICE workshop. Visitors could learn about the diverse range of products offered by Castrol and learn how Castrol SERVICE can help workshops both improve their operational efficiency and attract and retain customers, because when a workshop has Castrol Service accreditation, customers can be assured they will receive a high-quality service.

Castrol’s sporting sponsorships were also highlighted, with the trophy for the English Premier League on display alongside the Puma Rally1 WRC challenger of the M-Sport Ford World Rally Team. Goodie bags of Castrol merchandise were also distributed to the stand’s visitors.

One of the biggest challenges facing workshops is, of course, handling the gradual shift towards electric mobility, with conventional oils like Castrol GTX being replaced with products developed specifically to meet the needs of electric vehicles. Simon Gurney, a technologist at Castrol, said about this:

“We are continuing to innovate in EV fluid technology, while supporting workshops in adapting to changing technological requirements. Automechanika offers an excellent opportunity for Castrol to talk to workshops about how we can help ease this transition.”

At TrAchem, we’re proud to be able to offer Castrol’s automotive products, as well as industrial fluids like Castrol Hysol. Speak with our helpful team to discuss any of Castrol’s products.
