Castrol launches Fastscan app for independent workshops

Leading lubricant brand Castrol has released a new app to reward the owners of independent workshops when they make qualifying purchases of Castrol products.

The new Fastscan app allows workshops to accrue points when they purchase various automotive lubricants from an authorised Castrol distributor. These can later be redeemed for rewards like home appliances and consumer electronics from a catalogue spanning ten categories. The first 200 of these workshops that sign up to the programme will be awarded a thousand extra points.

As well as providing access to the new loyalty scheme, the app will also include a new knowledge-hub where workshop owners and staff can find a wealth of information on topics related to servicing and maintaining vehicles. Castrol says it has collaborated with partners in the automotive sector to produce a rich selection of content that will be helpful for mechanics, owners, and managers at workshops.

Castrol Europe’s lead for service and maintenance marketing, Layla Yebaile, said about the new app:

“This easy-to-use app offers an interactive digital hub, created to benefit and support independent workshops. This builds on our National Mechanics Month and is part of our strategy to build collaborative relationships with workshops and their staff, helping workshops drive profitability, navigate industry changes and become even more effective.”

Here at TrAchem, we include Castrol among the many brands we offer, so if you’re looking to purchase the Castrol Edge or Castrol GTX engine oils, get in touch with our helpful team to learn more.
