Speciality lubricant maker Kluber has announced that it will be at the Anuga FoodTec trade fair to showcase its new range of Kluberfood 4DC (4 direct contact) products to the food industry.

The innovative new range is the most recent addition to Kluber’s portfolio of products. It has been designed for applications where the products may come into direct contact with food, such that they are able to replace products that may be leading to contamination with mineral oil saturated hydrocarbons (MOSH), or mineral oil aromatic hydrocarbons (MOAH).

They are made entirely from plant-based ingredients that are free from allergens and organisms that have been genetically modified.

In a press release, Kluber said:

“The Klüberfood 4DC range currently comprises eight processing aids for the food industry that can perform different functions—they can be used as release agents, for corrosion protection, as lubricants, as metal forming fluids, as barrier fluids in mechanical seals and as non-stick and cleaning agents.”

The release added that the versatile products in the range are suitable for many aspects of the food industry.

In addition to its food safe lubricant range, the company will also be showcasing its digital solutions for supporting total productive management, along with the professional management of lubrication, something that is vital for assessing the risk posed by potential MOSH/MOAH contamination.

Kluber says it also supports its customers in achieving tangible operational improvements, such as reducing energy consumption, cutting costs, passing food safety audits and extending the shelf life of products.
