Mobil EAL Arctic 32 has been discontinued and replaced by Mobil SHC Gargoyle 32.
The EAL Arctic range from Mobil comprises a series of high-performance lubricant products. The Environmental Awareness Lubricants (EAL) are entirely synthetic formulas designed for lubricating refrigeration systems and compressors that utilise ozone protective HFC refrigerants. HFCs are replacing chlorine-based refrigerants with chlorine-free formulas.
Proprietary synthesised polyolesters (POEs) are the basis for this range, as well as the unique ingredients that ensure superb hydrolytic, chemical and thermal stability, lubricity and protection against wear. The range can be used in combination with HFC refrigerants, and when used as such display impressive temperature, pressure and viscosity relationships.
Mobil EAL Arctic 32 is widely used across the world in refrigeration and air conditioning setups, and are favoured by many manufacturers of such systems. The lubricants are approved for use with both household or commercial refrigeration or air conditioning systems using HFC refrigerants.
