Mobil SHC Gargoyle 32 is a fully synthetic refrigeration oil manufactured using a polyol ester (POE) base stock and a specialist additive package to offer superior wear protection and lubricity properties as well as chemical, hydrolitic and thermal stability. It is specifically recommended for use in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning) applications as well as commercial and industrial refrigeration.
This supreme performance oil produced by world-leader ExxonMobil, has been specifically developed for refrigeration compressors using low-GWP (Global Warming Potential) refrigerants such as HFO’s and HFO Blends. This includes A1 and A2L refrigerant gases which meet the ASHRAE Safety Classification 34/ISO 817. SHC Gargoyle 32 can also be used in systems which implement HFC refrigerants and has great miscibility with HFC, HFO and HFO Blend refrigerants.

Owing to the fact Mobil SHC Gargoyle 32 is hygroscopic, careful consideration should be given to avoid absorbing moisture when handling the product. It should also not be used in an Ammonia (NH3 or R-717) refrigeration system.
