Having been designed to meet and surpass key industrial requirements, the PETRONAS Compressor A M4 Series of compressor oils can be used in service for as long as 4,000 hours, even with maximum discharge temperatures as high as 100°C.
These oils are based on carefully chosen high-quality mineral base oils combined with additives to combat wear, oxidisation, foam, and rust. The A M4 Series also offers enduring performance thanks to high oxidation and thermal stability, and high levels of deposit and varnish control.
The series is recommended for use in both mobile- and stationary-based compressors, as well as rotary vane, rotary screw and reciprocating compressors that have crucial bearings and gears.
The series brings the benefit of being highly compatible with the majority of metal alloys, elastomers and seals, thus helping to ensure reliable performance and avoiding oil contamination and leaks through degraded seals.
